In May 2016 I visited iceland, which I wanted to see and experience for a long time. We rented a car and used the ring road to make a complete tour. We had good weather, bad weather, cold and very cold days. Here are some results of the photos I was able to take.

A small anecdote about the 2 photos above (Godafoss): It was quite windy that evening. I had set up my tripod and camera quite near the edge of the cliffs, and made a lot of long exposures. At one time I started to film because I wanted to capture the scenery live, so I let the camera film and took two steps back, away from the tripod. After two minutes, suddenly the wind got stronger so I thought i'd be better if I was near the tripod again to ensure it won't fall off, and just after finishing that thought I saw the tripod starting to tip over. I was quick enough to grab one leg, but ooh was that an adrenaline rush :D
